Shidoshi r. Threz Gonzalez
Sensei Gonzalez is the head instructor of the School of Smiling Tiger. He began training in various martial arts since the age of 15 but began training in Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu while in San Antonio in 1999. He travels to Japan as often as life permits to train with Hatsumi Soke, Someya Dai Shihan, and Nagato Dai Shihan. He currently holds a 5th degree black belt in Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu and is licensed from Japan to teach. God has given him the eyes to see the value this art brings to the world and the opportunity to meet many great people. Sensei Gonzalez continues to be a student under his teachers and strives to pass his knowledge to the next generation.
Shidoshi-HO 'D' Tran
Assistant Instructor 'D' has been studying Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu in Houston since 2006. As impossible as it may be, 'D' strives for perfection in his personal training in order to set a good example for other students. He maintains a very close relationship with his teacher, Sensei Gonzalez.
SHIHAN LUKE MOLITOR
Dr. Luke Molitor is a senior Shihan in the Bujinkan and the Dōjō Chō of the Bujinkan Jigoku Dōjō in Dallas, TX. He holds the title of Happo Biken Menkyo Shihan and is known for his comprehensive expertise in the Bujinkan Ryūha, weapon systems, and Japanese history. We regularly host and attend events with Shihan Molitor. He continues to be an invaluable source of training and knowledge for our school.
SHIHAN RICH CEARLEY
Although Shihan Cearley does not teach at our school, we pay homage to him here. He has been Sensei Gonzalez's mentor and friend for many years, and has given us great insight into the art.
